Every thing will be in a little case that slides into homemade pockets made for the pieces of it im trueing to find a plastic tubeing to put the wires through so wires arent shocking you and every thing's removeable so its washable, for the screen, i'll cover that later (once i make a better blueprint type thing to show how, considering my other ones crap)
well this is what im thinking, i know im gonna have a lot of wiring but here it is: th NES motherboard will be in the back of the hoody, out of the and in a semi-thick case for protsction, the controlls will look like an NES controller cut in half, you hold the D-pad in one hand and the A B in the other along with start select the controllers halfs will have a piaece of elastic holding them to your hand, the catrige pins will be rewired to the upper left half of the hoody, cleverly disquised as a pocket, also in that pocket shall house the P2 slot thingy the speaker(s if i can get two) will be put into the hood so it sucks you into its mono-ness and the quistioned screen, the pocket were your hands go into unzips from the top and goes down and is stoped by a piece of material, so your body and the screen are like a 90o angle, also the battery compartment is in the same caseing as the screen. wow i typed a lot well thats it!
I wouldn't put the NES in the back. Unless you mean that you'll only put the mobo in the back. But I think everything should go to the front. That way you can try to protect it with your arms if something is about to hit it. And you if you were planning on putting the cart slot in the back, that would be annoying having to take it off to switch out games.

Wow, that would be a big pocket, then.
If you can actually pull this off, that would be really cool. I think it would be a lot better to put it in a jacket, though. A brown leather jacket would be sup'a sweet. And it would be more durable. Hoodies seem to fall apart after extended use.
I have three leather jackets, and they're extremely comfortable. And cool.

that is true, but the screen assembly wouldent be as i planed it, and also since the hole electric part of it is removable, once one hoody is dead, you could just mod another one also i was thinking that since its removable, maybe the case in the back houseing the mobo could have slots on it so you could slid in the screen assembly, controller, catrrige/P2 thing and the speakers into it, making it handheld, so you could were the hoody to be cool and show off, and when your like traviling and you dont care you just turned it into a handheld, i drew a good hand held of it at school, i'll find it and fire up my scanner. wow i wrote a lot there too
I take stuff apart (all the time) like controllers and computors and such so i know how stuff works, ive read bens book and i re-read stuff in it all the time, my uncle works at this car parts place ( he invents electronic parts for cars) and giving me little "lessons" on soldering and such i also took apart *cough* it fell will it was open *cough* and put together my com. mouse but thats about it really so lets hope i dont go through like 5 NES's puttin this puppy together

Ah. Well, I have no experience portablizing yet (hopefully I'll start around October?), but it sounds like you have a good background to work on it. And your uncle could probably help you out a lot.
I would really suggest not using a hoodie though. I mean, with all that extra wait it will droop in the front... and it just won't be nearly as cool if it isn't a nice jacket.
Brown leather jacket > hoodie
I'm sure you could figure out where to put the screen and stuff. Maybe have it hidden underneath one of the sides, then have it flip out or something? I don't know. I guess we just have different tastes if you really like hoodies.

i hope i can start when i get the cash, the jaket would look cooler, but who would want to take a nice expensive jaket and do that to it? i mean bye like a $5-10 hoodie im sure theres some "mods" to make the front stronger, (my gramma loves sewing, she can probably help) but i think im gonna stick with the hoodie but a nice jaket is better than a hoodie i agree

Wiat! I'll give you a friggin' leather jacket if you're serious about this! There's one that I don't wear and never will again, because it's too big for me. It's just kind of baggie. If that's your style, it's your's. But I wouldn't send it yet, because it's a <$100 jacket, and I want to know if you're serious about it.
If you want the jacket, just keep planning it and I'll ship it to you.
