Well, I'm working on making my snes emulator compatible with any finished console, I can get messed up video on the nes, so its probably not impossible.

Let me get this straight. You're working on on a SNES emulator that runs on just about any console and you managed to get it run, however poorly, on a NES. Are you sure that's what you mean? I find that hard to swallow. I have written and released a SNES emulator for Dreamcast, a quite powerful system, and it can't emulate the SNES at full speed without a good amount of otimization.ShockSlayer wrote:Well, I'm working on making my snes emulator compatible with any finished console, I can get messed up video on the nes, so its probably not impossible.

Well it took forever to even get close to getting it to start on a nes, and then it doesn't have enough memory. It freezes after like 2 seconds, but it displays a very blurry capcom logo on MMX. I just did it to see if it would work.

If you go and check out the Parallax forums, they have a guy that is working on emulating the Commador 64 using the Propeller chip. Last I read he was almost done with all the trouble shooting work of getting it to basicly function..ShockSlayer wrote:Well, I'm working on making my snes emulator compatible with any finished console, I can get messed up video on the nes, so its probably not impossible.

Very nice to see how its all progressing, and I wish you luck. Like many others here, I was doubtful at first (though I didn't express my doubts, so as not to discourage you from trying), but you've proved a lot. I look forward to watching how it continues to improve, and might even invest in one when the time comes.
