how much draw does the genny v2 take

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

What is the draw [ma] of the V2 genesis?
Genesis V2 + Two weeks + Soldering Tools + Very little skill + Ben Heck Forum = My dream portable for a week in Vegas.

As long as I don't break my Genny : )

I'd have to say 600mA by memory.... did you search and google?

The back of the V2 case says 850mA, but I think we've found this rating is usually higher than what the actual system needs. The 850mA is perhaps for the wall adapter, which I'm sure loses some current through power regulation. I'd say a safe bet would be 600-700mA, but I may be wrong.
