My resignation as moderator (but not member) is coming

I don't want to do it, but I think my time has come. I am starting college this fall, and don't want my schoolwork to interfere with my modding, or vice versa. Because of this, I am going to officially resign from being a moderator indefinitely (it is possible, but highly unlikely, that I will return in the distant future). This will go into effect at midnight on September 6th (that is, the night of 9/5 into 9/6) I will still stay around as a member, but I'm not sure how much I'll stick around.

I have nominated Skyone to be my replacement, at least for Forum 42 and the book forum. At this point, it seems like that will likely happen, judging by my talks with gannon and the other mods.

Ok, you can all wish me well, say you'll miss me, (as a mod, not a member) or tell me to burn in hell now

Though I've just joined as a member, and Skyone is my friend (in real-life), it's always sad to see a moderator of any sort leave.

I'm sure you'll have a good time at college though, good luck.

Glad to see you're moving on to "real life" stuff, but sad to see a good mod go. I think Skyone would be a great replacement.

Sky will do an awesome job. He deserves this. Personally, I think we need more mods (and more ACTIVE mods) in general, but that's just me...

Applied math and computer science, with the software development concentration (at least, that's what the plan is for now... I don't see it changing in the near future)
