New Project: UPN

Post by totokan »

The 'UPN' or Ultra Portable Nintendo, is the latest NOAC project concept to come out of Totokanland. Using a Nintendo Entertainment System would be too large, so this uses state-of-the-(pirated)-art NES On A Chip (NOAC) technology, pulled shamelessly from a mall kiosk '1billion in one' tv games console. This part in and of itself is now very old and boring, so the real innovation is the case. It uses a deluxe gameboy carrying case, large enough to warrent the somewhat sarcastic name.

The real question here is, "what's the name of this case I'm looking for?" It's large, hard plastic, and looks like a gameboy. I can't seem to find it anywhere, and the one I had is now in a dump somewhere!
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

Here is a list of just about every portable, with pictures. My guess is that it's a TurboExpress if you said it looked like a giant GameBoy. Or are you talking about a project box of some sort?

Can't wait to see the results!

Yep, that's the one! Thanks! The guts are easy after making a bunch, it's figuring out how to be original that becomes hard. I'll keep looking, but I might end up getting that one off of ebay. Thanks again.
