NES screws

I can't get my NES screws out. Any tips or anythign at all?

they are just phillips screws what is wrong
are they rouded out if so try a screw extractor set

Take a really thin drill bit and just drill through them.

That's if you're planning on just throwing the case out.

I've also found that sometimes when you have a drill bit with sharp teeth sticking out, they grip the screw and jerk it out. I broke into an Xbox that way.

If you're willing to take a risk, just take a flathead screwdriver, put it up to the screw, and pount on it with a hammer until you make a dent. Then screw it out. This will more than likely damage the case, however.

I've never tried this on plastic, just on my bike, and other stuff made out of metal.

If you don't plan on using the screw holes again, simply just hold a soldering iron on the screw until it gets hot. Then, take something to extract the screw, say, needle nose plyers, and just yank it out. The case SHOULDN'T take any siginificant damage, but the threads of the screw hole will be rendered useless.

Unscrew them with a medium-sized phillips 'driver, then whack it until they come out. Don't go overboard thoughâ€¦
