controller issues

Post by Krepticor »

I am having a problem with my third party controller's joystick

What it does is pull to a corner and now it is broken...

So I need to find a replacement and well this controller is a mad katz model and is wirind differently than the one in the sticky...

I have tried a ps2 analog third party controller which has 100k pots and well it does the same thing

What is happening!!!???!!!

okwell I guess I HAve to try something else

I just wish I could hook up another controller in parallel, oh well I got a superpad 64 that will only collect dust

I only wish the joystick wasn't so FRIKIN HUGE!!!

I mean I worked hard on getting it perfectly hack with the n64 n the TV First...

That then ups my fry tally to
N64- $10
Zenith mobo- $40
Controller- $15

$65 down the crapper!!

Time to sell my extra games!

ok I figured it out!

using a third party controller was definatly the wrong way to go!

Since I have on eof the earlier mobos (the 2 large square chips) I believe the first party controllers are the only ones that really work...

That being said I have it set up so that I have a functioning portable with the first party and also any other third party plugged in the port (it's still on) doesn't work properly

So there First party controllers are the only ones I recomment for a ~n64p
