I'm not sure which topic to put this into, the technical Q's or the sega section, so sorry if its the the wrong but I really confused.
Now, i am making a genny portable and i want to cut up the controller and have it still work (obviously). I don't understand how it would still work. I'm going to cut up the regular three button controller. Any guide or help would be apperciated.

First cut the controller where desired, then scrape the green stuff off the traces where you cut, then solder a wire from one side to the corresponding trace on the other.
