http://portablesofdoom.org/beta/noac.php <- but just for a standard NOAC, most perform the same though.

It is way different. Some can run CV3 even. You have to specify which NOAC or else that list is bleh.gannon wrote:Yeah, but the majority of game compatibility is the same in each core, like mmc3 support, etc..

Actualy, my gyromite worked just fine with my friend's yobo. I may have said this before, but the only thing which makes a NOAC innacurate compared to the NES is that it is not manufctured under the same strict quality standards. The chip itself has no problems at all, and if you can find some of the OEM versions of that chip I am pretty sure any NES game would work on it (from what I have read out of the descriptions, anyway) However, most NOACs are manufactured very cheaply (and cheap is not just the price!
) and the chips have flaws because of this. If you were to send the designs for the NOAC to, say, an American manufacturer (who would not be worried about being sued by Nintendo) the quality would be much more carefully controlled and the chip would be more accurate. Keep in mind this is pretty much speculation based off what I know of the NOAC itself and chip manufacturing in general. For anyone out there who wants a NOAC, dont, I beg of you, ever sell your real NES! No pirate system will ever come close to the quality of a real NES.
Emulation isn't accurate. There is no substitute for real hardware!
