what is the best handheld system for emulation? speciffically NES, genesis, N64, and doom II.

GP2x in my opinion (not n64 tho) only handhelds that will do n64 are PSP (not well at all) or PCps/oqo/UMPCs

Gamecube can do all of those(though 64 is limited).

The nice small and sleep GP2x will do all of those. Or the, now being planned, GP3x.

Yep! I just talked to Epicenter who's helping with the next GamePark, he confirmed it'd be out next year. (with full 3D rendering!!)

how about those XGP's they have 3d rendering, and will be out soon.
