are there even modchips for the PSP? also notice how every psp firmware update tries to destroy homebrew/emulation on the system while adding a little functionality to the system to make up for it. while the gp2x firmware upgrades are to fix things that dont work right or improving preformance and adding features! yay GP2x! on a related note i finally have almost everything to build my breakout board! it will have 4 usb host ports and a video out port and extra power (when needed) to run things like usb thumbsticks and wifi cards supplied by 4 AAs for now and mebe a boosting reg later, as soon as i built a working thing ill put up pics

Yes, it's the Undiluted Platinum. It's about $100. Worth it for recovering a bricked PSP. The Epsilon BIOS for it ROCKS though, it's 2.71 with 1.50 (which could be done via devhook)! A multi-firmware chip is comming out, it's only like <$50.Triton wrote:are there even modchips for the PSP?
I am personally working on a serial cable for PSP hopefully it blows it open.

another plus for the gp2x, its got jtag and serial right off the ext port for easy unbricking, all you need is a cable which you can make yourself or get online for like 20$ or something, no need to spend 100$+ just to make it not broken again lol
