in the pics that ben has of his exodus the cart slot he has on it has a wire running accross it can anyone tell me what pins that wire runs from/to or even if it is needed.

Best guess by looking at this page:

is that he is just connecting pin A01 and A32 together. Thus tying the ground connections together. Might not be strictly necessary, but you're probably better off doing it.

Thanks for your help guys, its kinda a moot point till I get another radica anyway. I have tried to wire that cart slot for 3 days strait now and have had absolutley no luck whatsoever. I think I have some very bad traces on the radica board that is prohibiting me from making a good connection and I can't track it down. I know that someting is getting through though cause if you touch a ground to a VCC you get some sort of buzzing sound. I'm gonna get a new radica and leave the rom on this time just cutting the traces on the rom-board and using its solder points.
