I finally got an official psone screen today and needed to know what exactly do i do to get video and audio from my psone to my screen. (Idon't have access to Ben's book right now.) Thanks in advance

ok so what you do is connect the a/v pinouts on the psone to the a/v pinouts on the screen so the psone pinouts are

and the screen pinouts are

dont forget to run a wire from ground on the psone to ground on the psone screen.

if you need somthing cleared up just ask, cause im not always the best person at explaining things.

Ok say I just want composite video. Exactly what pins are included in composite video that I would want to use.

this diagram is for PS1 (the old fat one) but the video/audio pinout is the same. it's the plug in the bottom left of this pic. ignore the power pinout, it's different for PSone

the video, audio left and right, and video ground go to pins 1-4 on slot 2 of the PSone screen

Thanks!!! I'm understanding it better. Also Say I wanted S-video, I would use S-video Y, S-video C, left audio and right audio right?

You would, but the PSOne screen cannot do S-video. It can only do composite and RGB. (both of which ps1 has)
