Smallest Genesis Portable!

My idea is to use a radica with a cartridge slot to make a portable so small it can actually fit in your pocket.

It would be about an inch thick, 5 inches long, and about 3 1/2 tall. I want to know what I would use to power one that is small enough to fit in the case.

My guess is some sort of li-ion battery. It's pretty much the only thing that comes small enough with enough juice to power what you need.

somethin like thats been done before but no cartslot, you could use some AAs or whatever in parallel with a boosting regulator i think.

struart j moore or something like that made a pretty small one with no cart slot, didnt have a case though but it still seemed to hold together

Do you already have the screen? I have a broken digital camera I'd sell you for about $20 so you can take the small... I think it's around 1.5"-2".

EDIT: It's this kind of camera, a ZR-90. It was $400 new, and I only had it for about a month before it crapped out on me.

Does it take RGB, or any form of NTSC as an input? Nope, it's a camera.

Plus it's probably controlled by a PCB used by other things within the camera.

Well, the camera itself isn't. The switch is broken, so it doesn't complete the circuit. I tried to fix that, but the parts are way to small. But all the other electronics should work.

Well, I wouldn't like to throw it out. It cost me $400, and I'm sure that it could be fixed if brought to a camera shop.

Anyways, I think it's the perfect size for a tiny portable.

EDIT: The screen is 2.5", and it also has a lithium ion battery. I think you'd have to buy another charger if you used the battery, unless you get the camera fixed.
