Wavebird GC controller modding

I want to make my wavebird an awesome controller, but, other than painting what can I do? I'm currently working on a way to open it, so, post your idea's!

Drill holes in the controller and add fans to cool your hands/eliminate sweat while playing.

Rim it with LEDs (color of your choice).

Add a "secret" compartment on the back to store stuff. I did this with an SNES controller and put Altoids in it!

It takes 2 AA's, and I don't have any fans

A secret compartment eh? If I ever find the time, I will.

What are good methods to reattach it together? I drilled the s off.

I replaced the cstick with one of my other control sticks.

I'll get pics of the mobo later.

I found 2 green LED's that run on 3v. Would those work?

You can change the color of the led in the wavebird i guess.

Don't add fans, Don't add LEDs, your batteries will die in seconds!

A nice paint job is all that's needed, perhaps changing an LED to another colour.

Have you done anything to your Gamecube?

You could have the Wavebird receiver built into the Gamecube.

you should buy some lipoly and put them inside of it, i also like hatrix's idea of putting the recievers inside of the GC i think i may try both of these soon
