psone screen @ The Exchange: $ 20-25
Hey, just thought I'd let you know of a great deal I found at a place called The Exchange. I dont know if there are any outside of Ohio, but seeing as there are a significant amount of people here that DO live in Ohio, I thought I'd give a heads up. (For those who don't know, The Exchange is like a buy-sell-trade store for games and old records.)
Every so often, they'll sell a psone with screen and memory card combo for $40-50 (a great deal in itself). However, they sell a psone and memory card WITHOUT the screen for $25-30.
Here's what you do. Go up to one of the guys and explain to them:
50.00 --- psone with screen and memory card
minus
25.00 --- psone with memory card
===============================
20.00 --- psone screen!!!!
Having looked on ebay forever, and having no luck finding a cheap one, I thought I'd share that experience for anyone who will benefit. This may work for similar buy-sell-trade stores, but i KNOW it works at The Exchange.

Once I come into twenty bucks, I'll see if I can get that to happen...I do hate haggling, though....
Near Valley Forge? I was only over there once for Philly Classic 5.Harshboy wrote:You live in the PA!? No way! Rock on. And here in Lancaster or "Amish Country" we dont have any. GameStop also has a deal like this, only their PSOne screens are $25 new. Only a handful of stores have 'em, but they're out there.
Also, anyone heard of McVan's? It's a used video game store that I visited in Illinois, and it was really sweet. I've got one up here in Michigan (although it's an hour away from me
) I also have a place called The Toy Box, a used game store. Is it a chain?
