NEs into Old ps1 case?

Hello guys I just broke my nes case today so i decided to take an old (non working ps1 case to fit it in.... I took appart the nes metal cage + even the Bottom connector.. for an expension of i dunno i took it out of the pcb to make it flush as possible...

but not i wonder if it is still gonna fit without it .... anyone has done this before??.

Your broken english is very difficult to understand. I do not see how this would be a problem, if I understood you correctly (you are putting your NES into a PS1 case?) You most probably will have to be creative to make it look nice or cool and to make things fit, but that is most of the fun. If you still have problems just post em up, but it does help if people can understand what you are saying.

I am french..

basicly what i want to do. is put a nes into a ps1 case.... (i already took all the plastic out of the CD lens area making the big CIRCLE empty.

also i took out the NES adapter on the bottom = expension thing bay?
not sure... i took it out of the NES PCB.

But i dunno the nes board + Sound & AC unit is too Big to fit anything......
How it is possible to Put this nes into an other case

I might want to try finding an other case to fit it in... but What would fit it?.

My apologies for that about your grammar, some people here do just get lazy and rude, but I did not know english was not your native language. Actually, there are ways to make the NES mainboard smaller, for example you could remove the RF box and get just composite out and audio out, but you would still need to amplify it. If you have decided not to use the PS1 case you could always use another. Be creative, and think of something that you think would be cool, and then build it. Thats how all these cool projects you see on Benheck.com and the forums get built.

no prob i understand people sometimes writes sloppy but this isn't my case^_^

hmm I might drop the PS1 Case idea since i messed it up (oupss...) heh...

So now im off with a nes in parts ..
I succesfully removed the back part of the nes (black expansion thing like i mentioned) that i was happy since now it's more flat.

I will need to remove the POWER box & audio

I will need to reconnect it afterwards but dunno how:)

now im hunting for a casing:)

Ill keep an update if i find something interesting:)

Well, there should be plenty of people on the forum who can help with the RF box info (the RF box is that big silver-ey metal box with all the plugs in it) Actually, unless you want to conect through your TV's antenna port you could just get rid of the RF box, since the audio and video out are still there without the box. Without the RF box you will need to amplify the video signal and regulate your voltage from the power supply to 5 VDC, but that is fairly easy to do and you can find lots of people here to help you.

okay this is what i got so far.

Now i dunno how i will get signal at all (i am trying to figure a way out...') the box metallic was Broken when removed:( ....

I could of just wired it if it was still intact... but now it's gone gone...

Crap

+ the 5 joints where it was soldered got a little bit messy when pulled out of the pcb

Great now i need a pattern how to fit it in a new box....(any box)...

+ Restore the power + (video out...:S) wich i never did something like so...
