What happened to the Benheck site?

I have been away from this site for probably a year and a half now. I came back to say one thing. If I get banned oh well. It won't be profanity or anything like that. I just want to say this site went downhill.

It use to be something beatiful but when all these people joined it turned into something sad and ugly, like the olsen twins becoming the osbourne kids.

This site use to be dedicated to helping others out with their portables. Now it changed into advertsing your site or seeking advice for your stupid things or pointing out peoples stupidity. When I first came here it was fun spamming or joking around but others came and it slowly became dilutted. I am not saying people shouldnt join but they need to understand the site before they do. I watched the old site before I joined and I am sure half of you don't even now about the original one.

I am not sure if all of you will understand my point because you are limited to the view of loving this forum, but if you look form outside the box at the inside you will see its lost its true sight.

Ben you are a smart man with electronics and have a skill but I think you took to many wrong turns along the line.
Sorry to critize Ben or god to some of you, but you guys are to narrow minded here.

I have said my peace and am going now. I had to get it off my chest before I left but too many people came and changed it and my only advice to help it with adding a section for people who have been here for a while was shut down. So good bye have fun figuring it out.

Everyones still making portables and getting help, but yes I somewhat agree with you, it has changed but then again, this change may do us great somehow, as there is more people, more portables, more fun.

I remember the old site...The only con w/ the new one is the slightly larger loading time :p

I know the feeling of being in a nice forum, leaving, & coming back to see how much it's gone downhill. Trust me, it could be worse...

Link89, this forum has grown considerably since you frequented here. Unfortunately, with more users comes (most of the time) more stupidity.
While there are some great people here, the nonsense here has gotten to the point that us mods have to do something about the junk that is starting to take hold here.
Of course, cracking down on the rules is going to generate conflict, but if this place turns into a place like the Nintendo forums, it's not much good to anybody, is it?

I actually got bored of it here, which is why I post not-so-often at all, and have lost all interest in electronics what-so-ever. I'd probably be lying if I said girls didn't play an important role in my life.

What does change have to do with narrow mindedness? I wasn't here for the old forum, no, and I do see where this forum could be changed for the better, yes, but the staff can handle it. And in fact, I have seen them start to do that. So, yes, we have problems, but they are dealing with it. (when I tried to fix my forum which had been going for a year and a half, the users rebelled and all left and it died, but the benheck staff>me)

No, but I did just remove your testicles using a super charged soldering iron. If you get to china to collect them from a hidden room quick enough. They may be rattachable...
