What a predicament
I have a huge decision. Ok I just got my licence today (well its coming in a few weeks, i just have the temp operators licence), and my mom was going to buy me a car. I found out She bought the car, not for me but for my deadbeat brother. She promised me the car, and she went behind my back and got it for my Live at home 32 year old brother.
I have to have a car next school year (not a want a HAVE), there is a big chance i will have a Zero Hour Class (which means i have to come in early to take annother class). Also I have $800+ in gthe bank at this very moment, the problem is Thats for my senior trip to new york (4 days in new york, with a broadway show and a yankees game).
Should i take money out of the bank to buy a car, then find a job at mickey dees to get the money back?

Jeez man, life aint like TV buddy, you cant do random crazy s*** like that.ganonbanned wrote:i say ask mom if she can give you the car, and if she doesnt steal it, smash it up, and ram it in to the house.
Or, you could (if he does drugs) point out that he does, and look like a perfect son.
Damn Gamer2 your really in a tough situation, how far away do you live from your school? I'd get a job ASAP in anything as long as it pays decently,I say definetly take the trip and for school (You just cant miss stuff like that good times man good times), as for school, is there any public transportation you can take?
EDIT: Just found out that congress raised minimum wage from $5 to $7 and some cents, thought maybe that could help.

Your mom sucks...
Next time, you might want to think about writing up a contract or something...

Wrong, legally, you dont have to give someone something because its there birthday or similar. (Ie. Mom says I will give you a Car for your birthday, and then she doesnt) She has to be getting something in return (consideration I believe) Get a job. I have had a job for 3 months and I can afford a car but no insurance right now. and im 17!!!atari2600a wrote:Your mom sucks...

Re: What a predicament
Hmmm....I'd say get a job and use the money now. Then earn the money back for the trip. Or point out the fact that if your mum, mom, doesn't give you the car. That you won't be able to go to school and whe will end up with another deadbeat live at home 34 year old :pgamer2 wrote:I have a huge decision. That's not legal...period. (14th Amendment, look it up)
If I where you, I'd apply for a job there, & then sue them because of sexual discrimination. Then you'd have the money to buy a car yourself!
