Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Post by hayabusafmw »

Hello Everyone

I would like to know what to do with a psx 1 semi working condition

the laser is ''copulate'' i tryed to change the spin speed on it like on some faqs that was told to give your lens a second wind it never worked....

since then doesn't work....

What mod could i do with that beside doing a mini pc inside?...

Either move it to a new case (later model) or put it in a custom built case. Really the fact the first PlayStations over heated was just sloppy work on the case design.

1) Take Big Mallet/Hammer
2) Take Camera/Video Camera and a friend
3 repeatedly bash the ps1 and get pictures
4) Have FUN!

doing that on ebay is just wrong.

find another broken psone with a working laser and swap the lasers.

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

The case thing also wouldn't work, I have 2 PSXs and one is original- the others lazer has been moved.

I did the "screw laser" thing on my Saturn. You just have to turn it a little bit and not a whole bunch. Screw it just a tad and test it, if it still doesn't work turn it a little bit more.

(Although my laser always spun, it just never read the games)
