I disagree. Monopoly's fake money made it l337 back in it's day, and now, seventy-odd years later, it's still l337. And really...who buys properties and bails out of jail with a credit card?

then again, who buys properties for less than 400 dollars and get out of jail for 50 dollars? And even if properties really costed 400 dollars i bet very few would pay in cash. The new monopoly should probably use checking accounts by your logic.

No, they should change the mortgage system so that if you don't pay a certain interest every turn you have something mortgaged, they would start piling up credit card debt on you. :)
