Recommended PS2 RPG's

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

I must admit, although I love being a classic RPG nut, it does have it's draw-backs. For instance, I've only played a few current-gen RPG's! They are:

Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana
Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts II
Disgaea (just starting)
Phantom Brave (again, just starting)

As PS2 games start to get cheap, I'd like to buy some, after my PSTwoP is complete, of course! I'm a HUGE fan of the Tales Of series by Namco, and I'm sitting here wetting my pants waiting for Tales of the Abyss; is Legendia any good? Any other PS2 RPG recommendations?

I played both of those, and they were great! And actually, my local Meijer sells FFVII, brand new, for $15 bucks. They have, literally, 50 copies just sitting on the bottom shelf gathering dust.

Holy crap, I know! A couple of years ago, I saw it at Fred Meyer's for only $15, but the prices have totally jacked up on eBay!

Well, if you're going for a game that isn't an RPG, you better get God of War. That's my all time favorite PS2 game. But my crappy PS2 won't play it. It will play every single game. Except. God. Of. War.
