Daguuy, maybe reasoning might work, since you obviously aren't listening to facts (like when I say "that's against the rules")

You cite this thread as an example of us being harsh. So let me ask you this: If we allow illeagl disscussions on the forum and are busted by the authorities, would you mind taking the blame?

Also, all mods are 42 mods, and you're complaining about rules that have been effect for a long time, unchallenged. You would have seen that if you'd pay attention, but that would probably get in the way of the perverse pleasure you derive from pointing out other peoples faults to make up for your lack of worth and importnace. Even worse, since you point out faults that exist only in your sad little mind. But your mental issues are none of my conern, much as forum politics are none of yours. Only forum socio-dynamics.

Honestly, breaking a rule in a topic regarding banning. I'm amazed...

i have a response but first can i propose a rule (the rules thread does not say moderators are the only ones who can propose stuff so this should be legal, am i right?): i think discussion of moderation should be allowed in moderation/rule topics. moderation's important and sometimes needs to be talked about (you know it's true, you just don't want to admit it

). i'm not gonna go into more detail until someone approves this because you'd probably ban me

it's just not fair not being allowed to talk about something important that affects me (in a bad way). Luc, stop harassing me. seriously. harass=bad. somebody (admin?) please make him stop harassing me! he just won't stop throwing insults at me

asking for help is not playing mod, he just keeps harassing and harassing and harassing and won't stop, i thought a mod should know better then that

I really find that too harsh. That is how I answer idiotic people. I have been warned of that. And its about bloody time I was! No, really, I don't care, honestly it would be VERY hard to get rid of me completely if I didn't want to go. But I would probably just go, so as not to turn into a jeff like person.

Anyway, he acted like a moderater. Now its time for my nasty post.

Its just because Daguuy is a sad, sad person and all he thinks is the berst and most important job in life is as a BenHeck moderator. But I don't see why its so harsh.

i don't want to be a mod, my problem is that the mods hate me and try to get me banned and they got that rule that doesn't let me say anything about it so it's completely one-sided.

I actually found this thread harsh, for the fact that triton yelled at Big-O for trying to be a mod, then the mod that locked it didn't say anything about the intent of the lock.
PErsonally I think we've dug ourselves our own grave. We were too linient (sp) with banned members. (remember HDC? THREE FREAKING BANS) We have to crack down on these people. I'm surprised sam fisher is still here (if you flame me sam, you'll just prove my point) and there's just so much that goes on that shouldn't. Personally I think we should just throw forum 42 out the window. It given us so much trouble. Like 90% of locked topics are from forum 42, and it's over taken the portable aspect of this site. I'm done now.

1. My flaming does have general meaning behind it

2. I only flame idiots ( much like you FLAME )

3. You are an idiot for playing Moderator, when this thread already has people warned for doing that, by saying they are too leniant. They are not too leniant. I have a warning already. They have a system now. I think it was me that helped get rid of FDSMAN because he started sending me 7 year old death threats...

daguuy, you're not a marter. Sorry to burst your bubble. You've had your say so much, now it;s getting you in trouble. If you want to whine, do it in the rules thread like everyone else ever has. The superlite. Go, please. Fill it to the brim with ideas of why we're mean and what we should do.

Guys, honestly, I'm amazed at how people can conjure all these isuues out of nowhere. We're doing our jobes and because people who break rules are getting trouble, we;re wrong. Believe me, you'd be angrier if we just gave up and let the forum go to hell. MOre so than now.

OK, first off all of us do NOT hate you. Personally I haven't seen you do anything too bad at all. However, according to some you constantly question a certain someone by generally asking "are you sure you should have done that?" a lot. This is what they are getting annoyed by. Believe me, we know what we're doing. Some commentary is OK, but questioning everything they do, all the time, can be annoying, you know?

I agree. We have been too lenient for too long with bans. However, we have the "new warn - warn - 3 day ban - 7 day ban - permaban" system, which should help solidify the punishment system. I don't think we should ditch F42, but everyone should try to keep the spamming down. Posting in a thread that is clearly spammy and poineless is as bad as making the thread in the first place.

Why must every comment of yours be negative? You've upset several people already. Believe me if it were solely my decision you would be on the 3 day ban level already. 1. Stop relating the moderator team to Nazis. It is inappropriate, uncalled for, and downright offensive to many people. We're doing our jobs, we don't necessarily WANT to kick people out of here, they bring it onto themselves. I do not want to hear ANYONE relate that shameful time in history to ANYONE here again or they will be dealt with accordingly. Believe me, you'd get suspended/expelled/fired/sopeona-ed for making that kind of remark in the real world.

2. Stop yelling at us for doing our jobs. If you yell at us because we uphold the rules that have been in effect longer than most of us have been members,go outside, find a cop pulling someone over for a DUI or speeding, and yell at them. We're doing our job.

3. You can either follow the rules in the News forum, or you can get kicked out. Same deal with real laws. You break the law and get caught,you go to jail. Getting banned from the forums is like getting deported from Benland. If you don't like the rules, say something! Don't just outright disobey them! That whole "teen agnst" BS won't work.

4. Why is it always the same group that has a problem with following the rules?

I'm say we can't tolerate crap, but we have to explain what is and isn't okay, and have strict guidelines. I just feel we have strayed so much from portibilising and electronics, to the point where a topic defending portibilisng turns into a flame fest.
