I think it's because denial is their only way of justifying their lack of knowledge and skills. -True

Don't even get me started about the crowd on engadget. The first thing they whine about is "Where's the L button? What about the D-pad?" when they should know only a fraction of games ever used them. Again, it's the only thing about the L64 that they can find trouble with to justify their ignorance. -Of course now, they'll never get it, and its the player's choice whether you want them or not.

But we need to be careful around these people - though they are annoying, you can't treat them with or anger - that's something they already understand. It's better to smile and say "Have a nice day!" - I guess so

i guess to me there are 2 types of people who dont like portables or the idea of making portables they are:
#1: the ones discussed here : OMFG U R LEIR! THAT IS the GHEY SUXXORZ
#2: the ones who dont see the point (you can just emulate) or think its bastardizing classic game consoles, one of my friends argues with me about that occasionally

My friend Harley don't care too much. He just wants to see if I can do it. I might make him a portable gamecube.

If you were in court, You would of prosecuted yourself by now. You just said that smashing a PSP was hte only thing you could do.

1. Do nothing
2. Equally, as he did to your SnesP, insult his PSP with words. Point out its faults etc...

anyway

i defend it by saying
-Its Legal compaired to Emulation, because Portables use the systems Hardware
-The controlles are right, unlike Emulation
-the games allways run full speed, because of the systems hardware.

back on topic...
the home made portables usually have more/better games. 'nuff said, it's all about the games. and the official portables are usually too small and cramped, i prefer 2 inches of hand space to 1cm.

I second that. $5 beats $20 or $50 anyday
