GCp instructions

I have a 'dead' gamecube. I want to make a GCp out of it, then out of my working one. But while I was reading through some topics before I joined, I saw my problem, it starts up, but doesnt read discs. So, if at all possible, I'd at least want a fix. But can anyone give me detailed instruction on how to create one? Also, please list approx. expenses. And if possible, how to make it look like a book from a distance so I can get it in and out of school without a hassle.

It doesnt read disks eh? Your Disk drives pot is the answer (NO DRUGIES!!!!! ITS NOT THE POT YOURE THINKING OF) Just turn it a little bit, and that should fix the problem for that.

.....and that is the pot, just "turn" it and that should fix it. If not you turned it too far or too little....maybe your drive is just screwed. Hope this helps

EDIT 2:::: Sorry again for being unintellegable in the matter, how should I get into the GCN? What kinda tool do I need, or can I use some common houshold stuff

A 4.5mm security bit
or
a lighter and a bic pen. <_<

*sigh* I might be able to use the carbiner method on my spare N64. Hang on. If I can get it out, can you give me a set of instructions for a portable N64.

I got it! w00t! Can someone give me a set of instructions on how to make an N64p? please, and can a mod change the title and move it. I have a PSone sreccn already. so, I'm happy, I also found my solddering iron! YAY!
