I have a request. It is that when people have a question about somthing they google it first or look at other sites or somthing. Forum 42 used to be pretty cool because people always posted what they found. If you can't find an answer from google then post on here. I just wish people would go back to the way it was before I was a member. Like when g-force introduced me to it.

Anyway now that I got that off my chest I would like to run an idea off of all of you. We have paintball for the people that like to hurt and be hurt (which paintball is fun) but it is to costly. We have lazer tag for the people that can't afford paintball or don't like getting hit with them. There aren't enough lazer tag places where I live. What about a nerf dome. There are hundreds of nerf darts all over the dome with objects to hide behind everywhere. They all get a choice of weapons and wear velcro suits. Then the teams (2-4 teams every match) go at it and have fun. would you think kids would pay to do this? I am trying to figure out if it is a good project to invest in? Thanx for the time.

ok what i want to know is what the hell is a nerf? i remember them as these stupid cheap plastic guns that shot out foam circles. people actually get hurt off of this? or am i thinking of something else?

Yeah they used to be those stupid little things but now they make awsome ones that shoot like one hunderd somthing feet. They rock!!

another thing, if the velcro suit could maybe have some sort of sensor that would know when you got hit so you couldn't cheat, then it would be neat. Probably too complicated for something like this but it would kind of incorporate the good thing about lazer tag (No cheating). But yeah, I think this would be a great idea, I'd totally do it.

Not too bad of an idea, but a few considerations. First, how would you keep score for sure. Yeah, velcro suits would work to keep velcro altered darts on, however they can fall off, and people could take them off and deny being hit. Also you have to take into consideration how fast the darts would wear out. Same with the guns. They are made out of kinda cheep plastic and break easily. One of my friends, his brothers used to go through about one gun a week. Now, if you can overcome these, then sure! Go for it! Good luck.

You could make your own, better guns. Are the hundreds of darts so that you can just pull the ammo off the wall?
I think this is a great idea.

NERF EXPERT RIGHT HERE!!!
First of all, your going to want a good combo of guns. Nightfinders, mavericks, and dart tag blasters are all good weapons. Stay away from fireflies, rapid fire twenties and any ball guns, they are too pricy or suck. Also, would you be willing to mod these guns? (Info here and here) You can get a lot of power from guns such as the big bad bow, titan, and blast bazooka. Also, you may want to consider, from a cost point of veiw, going to stefans (custom darts) which are cheaper than tagger darts, but wouldn't have velcro. Lastly, maybe you should just nerf with your friends, and try to increase moding awareness. If you tell me where you are located, I can try to see if there is clan around there to nerf with.

My modded nerf guns... (top is actually not nerf, but shoots large foam missiles) top is lanard blast bazooka (sold to friend), bottom is air tech 2000 (broken currently)

You don't even have to keep score I am saying it would just be a good idea. I never thought about modding guns!!!
