Well, Sony did happen to respond to Nintendo's motion sensor controller, and we can all say that Nintendo "ripped that off" Microsoft's Sidewinder from eight years previous.
But you know what? Microsoft never really took off with the motion sensor Sidewinder. True, you could manipulate the settings for it to work with any PC game, but not many people cared. Now, Nintendo is packaging this control scheme in a whole new way and bringing it to the forefront to the masses - something Microsoft did NOT do well enough. So yes, you could say Nintendo ripped the idea from Microsoft, but in actuality, Nintendo has given the idea a complete overhaul and improved on it in so many ways. Public response has supported its improvement.
Vectrex had analog control before anyone else, but it wasn't too successful now? Nintendo was the first to POPULARIZE it and build control around that. It may have not been the originator, but it sure brought it to the masses.

"The Nintendo stradegy will work everywhere except in America where most people dont give things a chance."

but my main point is, the fact that nintendo and sony are both doing sorta similar ideas isnt really a negative in my view
