Anyone know where to get a compact flash to ide adapter I cannot find them anywhere

so you want something so you can use ide devices on things that use compact flash?

Because CF cards run a fat16 format, and also, most people use the cf->ide adapter to cut down on the size and power needed for a device, while the ide->cf adapter would only increase the size and power needed.

Well, for starters you are going to need a 12v and 5v power supply to power a hard drive.

yeah, if it's a cd drive or something you'll need to make a custom atapi interface
