Volume Button Relocation on the PSONE Screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Volume Button Relocation on the PSONE Screen

Post by demonofaj »

Well, how, my idea is to solder together to switches the pins 'V+ (Or -)' then wire the other part to a ground on the screen, like that gray spot in front of the screen? Works? Thanks if you guys respond.

I've done it with a third party screen and it worked. Though it were potentio meters and not buttons. I prefer them on the side since they always are on a gameboy. I can also cut down the pcb to a smaller size now! It will be about the size of a floppy disk.
