I got a macbook (not pro) the other day and the graphics card in them is a 64 mb GMA 950

Does anyone know what this card relates to in terms of more common cards like radeon or nvidia? Like is the GMA 950 relatively close to the nvidia geforce 6 series or 5 series or something?

Memory has nothing to do with the brand of the card.

I'd guess that would be around or below geforce 4 level. I believe I had a Geforce 2 with 64 meg. This is basing it on memory alone, mind you.

If it will give you any help, my ATI 8500 has 64 mb memory.

No noo, this isnt what im asking, im asking what graphics card is the equivelant of the GMA 950, see I just dont know how powerful it is, so I want a comparison to another brand such as ati or nvidia.

Forget about the 64mb part...

A Geforce 6 Series can have 64, 128, and maybe 256 mb memory, so your question makes no sense.

I said forget what I said about the memory and just answer the question which was which card can you compare to the GMA 950, like Nvidia Geforce 6200 or something like that.

The closest stats for a Geforce comes with Geforce 4 MX 440
