Rolling Back DirectX

is there anyway to roll back directX, i have a game that wont run on Direct X 8.1. I need to send it back to 5.

try to put Direct X 9.0c on it.....8.1 is old :wink:

Try uninstalling it, or removing it from the registry.

You might be able to rollback Windows. I have no idea

No, you can't rollback DirectX, but there are DirectX uninstallers that work with mostly poor success. Really, why the heck would you want to go back to version 5? It would screw up your system terribly and there is probably another way to get your game working under 8/9. (They are fully backwards-compatible, no matter what the game thinks.)

One wont run unless it installs direct X 5, and one has had Video problems sense i upgraded.
