Famicom questions

Post by arfink »

OK, I think I may have asked this before but I'll ask it again...

Does anyone know the pinout for the DB9 (9 pin) famicom controller connector? I think that connector is on the newer Famicom units (AV famicom, possibly?)

Secondly, I am looking to buy/trade to get a 60 pin female Famicom cartridge connector. Does anyone who has done a project here have one and want to sell it to me? I am looking to make a cool converter to play famicom carts on the NES, with that dongle idea I mentioned in a different post.

No, that is NOT what I am looking for. I am looking for the pinout for the DB9 (9 pins!) connector for controllers that you can see in the new-style famicoms that have AV. The old famicoms had the controllers hardwired.
