PSOne screen current...

Post by codeman »

no, not for the whole screen. I was wondering if anyone knows the current draw of the 7.5v line only. I'm trying to decide which IC to choose for my regulator (no, i dont want a 7808 but thanks anyway). Help please?

You'd have to split the trace and measure the current with a multimeter in series.

I don't think anybody's jumping at the thought...

wouldnt you just have to pull the 7805s, put 5v where the outputs were and 7.5v where the input was? I'm just too lazy...hoping someone could tell me easily
