This is the coolest story I've ever read. This guy started out with a red paper clip, and 14 cross-country trades later he now owns a house.

I saw that in my local newspaper. Pretty neat idea, but it's by no means "new". Read the book Me and my Little Brain by John D. Fitzgerald (it's about 30 years old, so you may have trouble finding itâ€¦).

I don't think I've ever run into anyone else that had even heard of that book.

the brain books rock. i have read all of them. (my middle school library sucked.) But i her my highschool library has manga.

despite going there for two years i have yet to actually look. i'm to busy with working on my own collection which increased by half just two days ago. my dad new someone who was going to throw all his away and so he grabed them for me. oops off topic.

It's a neat concept but not that easy. We should all try this and see what we get and post it. It might be better not to start with a red paper clip though.

yeah, that guy was pretty smart for doing that.

I kinda do the same thing with getting all my game junk. I trade stuff for other stuff that I then trade for the final stuff. I end up getting the final product for a fraction of the price, but it does require some work.
