NYC Modders - want to be interviewed?

Hi all,

I'm a freelance journalist and graduate student and I'm working on putting together a story on modding old school consoles into portables, or into anything, really - I was fortunate enough to speak with Ben for a bit, and now I'm looking to get ahold of anyone in New York City area who would be up to be interviewed in person and maybe show me some of the wild, inventive, and creative stuff you've been able to do.

yes, i am a real person - not a spambot. I'm a freelancer for a couple of different places, and I've got a particular art publication as well as a business publication in mind if I can get the story together... I appreciate your offer demonofaj - though, I definitely want someone who'd be old enough for me to be able to actually check out their work and hang out for a bit. The console modding world is a fascinating one, so hopefully there's someone out there who I'll be able to catch up with.

Well, 'work', I'm not sure about that. The only New York going portabalizers I know of so far on this forums is the active me, and now (?) inactive zzbestos11(x(I don't know number)), and some one named iX NES iX, near somewhere in Glen Cove. Zzbestos and me are both adolescents...so, I'm not sure what you can do...you live in Brooklyn, hmmm...zz lives in Manhattan from what I see, and I'm in Queens...so, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you can do.

theres foxx but he doesnt really do portables, just general hacking check the memberlist for his contact info

Yeah this guy is real, he already interviewed me.

Although for safety remember it's always best to do phone interviews. I cannot be held responsible for real-life meetings that occur from the use of this site. I'm sure Matthew will understand, it might make people uncomfortable.
