That's not too complicated. Just get a SP3T switch (A/Off/B). Then connect the battery + to the input. Connect the SNES's positive power input to one of the pins. Connect the N64's positive to the other pin. Connect the screen's positive to both connectors.
Another more foolproof way would be to use a couple switches, one in each cartridge slot, and a simple on/off switch. You would need two switches such as <a href="http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... mily">this one</a>. If you put one in each cartridge slot and wire the systems up like this:

the correct system will start up depending on which cart is inserted. (ie the SNES will boot for SNES games. The AV will just be wired as someone said above

Edit 2: I added the screen to the diagram. (It's obvious it was an afterthought, but it gets the job done.) The AV leads were omitted for clarity. Just connect both systems to the same screen without a switch or anything. Only one will be running at any given time so it's not a problem.

I haven't yet thought of a way to use that switch to power a screen... I'm thinking a dual transistor circuit, any ideas, anyone?

I think i'll go with a design like that so does anyone know how i'll power the screen? i remember seeing a post somewhere that said there was some kind of switch in each cartridge connector so that when you slipped a cartridge in, it would power that system. the thing im not so sure about is what if someone where to put in two cartridges at the same time, that would be powering both systems and i don't want that.Skyone wrote:
