Good 3rd Person RPG's

Post by Kurt_ »

I want a good 3rd eprson RPG that is rather long and that I can definitely NOT DOWNLOAD from a torrent or something. I'd like a real game, not any online games, and something along the lines of Diablo or World of Warcraft. Any suggestions?

I know you said not online, but try Dofus. Its a great MMORPG.

Another good reason its good is cause you can run it on Windows, OSX, and Linux (Its not browser based)

all RPGS are 3rd person. But Chrono Trigger is a good one.

Shenmue is also great. Its short though, but Shenmue III has a long....wait time. I wish it would come out :(

Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Final Fantasy VII.

I don't really play RPGs (I find it more fun when the speed of your actions count), so I don't know anything else off of the top of my head.

Depends on the kind of RPG you're wanting to play. You mentioned Diablo and World of Warcraft, so I assume you mean action-RPGs. Hmm. Free action RPGs. No, wait you said one you can't download. In that case, I suggest something like Sacred.

I like some RPGs but its the same old curagous devender story line, why not get hammed and make one :D I like RPGs that compleatly basterdize the hole game, like graal. i think the story was about you dad got killed so ovcourse you have to go out on some epic quest to unite the kingdoms and bring blah blah zelda rip off, any wyas the game didnt matter cus it was so glitchy and stupid it was compleatly hacked to bits all the time so it was just a realy fun mmo every one could hack :D any ways i got addicted to it for about 6 months and spent a lot of money there and in the end the addmins totaly dicked around way tomuch and just sat back counting coin they didnt care what was going on (my kind of place.). yeah then i quit it cus my stonner buddys where worried about me latter i went back on to see what changed and to my shock and horor i was banded and some one was using my player, Oh well they made him look pritty cool so yeah I didnt see it at the time but that game sucked somuch ass.

well if your talking action RPG and on any console, I say Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, they may not be super long (you can beat each of them in ~30hrs) but they are very fun, and after you beat (KH1 atleast) you can sit there for another ~20hrs leveling up to lv100 in the colloseum, so that you can beat Sephiroth. They have great replay value, (played through KH1 3 times, and am on my second round of KHII) so yeah, if you have a PS2 then that is the game, plus KH chain of memories for GBA was good too.

KOTOR and KOTOR 2 rock. Excellent gameplay, a story that sucks you in, infinite replayability, they're amazing.
