I'm thinking for my next (small) project, I might want to make a GBA along the lines of dkap's. For the bigger screen. I always hated playing my GBA games on that small screen, that's why I sold it a couple years ago.
Is there a way of doing this without using either a "GBA TV" or "GBA Transverter"?
I'm mainly thinking of doing this with a standard old landscape-design GBA rather than spend a bit more for an SP. But if it's possible to do with an SP without buying a GBA TV or Transverter, then maybe it would be cheaper to use an SP.
Consequently, does anyone know what dkap used?
GBA to PSOne screen?

There's this thing... I forget. You take off the back of the GBA, and you put this new one on that has video out ports or something. I know it's possible but I don't know how. This is for the old GBA, not the SP.
The SP screen is not like the PSone screen, so no, you can't just connect a PSone screen to the SP.
Hope this helps!

If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.
That would be the GBA TV. Or maybe the GBA Transverter. The ones I mentioned. They both do that.Super Cameraman wrote:There's this thing... I forget. If you're talking digital vs. analog, etc. I know that. It's just that there's been a lot of SP-related mods, so I thought more was possible with it than the standard GBA.Super Cameraman wrote:The SP screen is not like the PSone screen, so no, you can't just connect a PSone screen to the SP.
