Are there any big name stores that you can buy plastic at?

sheet plastic?
such as styrene?

I have a link to a site but if i can avoid using the web i will as i am close to some stores...

Home Depot would they have it...they have almost everything wood releated why not plastic?

are there any others??

Home Depot has lexan and plexi, but I've never seen 'em have styrene.

I find it easy, because I use a jig-saw.

Well what i know we have in the garage are :
*NOTE* i know not all this stuff can be used.
Table saws
Jig saw (somewhere)
A couple packs of x-acto knives
Drill

Table saws can cut lexan, but go slow and hold the material down (otherwise it rides up on the blade). If you plan on using acrylic, take out the blade and put it in backwards (teeth facing away from you when pushing material through). X-acto knives supposedly work (how well I don't know) if you heat them up first. Finally, drills will work on both, but be careful with acrylic (it chips very easily).

I goofed off with some and tryed making stuff. I like it better then plexi cause it has good properties. You can melt and shape it then cut it then reshape it and so on.
