Well unfortunately fireworks are illegal to use here in Massachusetts. Stupid paranoid laws and haywire auto insurance system and extra taxes...

But we get an extra 2 hours of the Boston Pops concert on the local CBS affiliate! :P (The national broadcast is only an hour.) We had performances by a couple of the American Idol winners, a lot of the orchestra playing, more fireworks, a performance by Rockapella, a speech by some old CBS 4 news anchor (I don't know, I watch the Channel 7 NBC news! :P)

Haha! We can have fireworks in Utah, unfortunatly all the fun ones like firecrackers are illegal (did that stop my friend and me from playing with firecrackers today? no).

Yeah we had it on the 1st in Canada I was working BUT I work right on the beach as a busboy for a private club and the fire works were right on the beach so I got a great view! The boss said I could stay signed in and get Pay and a half because its a holiday! Lets add this up, huge fireworks great view great pay little work = win.

In Ohio, you can possess fireworks, purchase fireworks, sell fireworks if you're registered, but when you buy them you have to say you're going to use them in a different state, because it's illegal to use them. Crazy world out there.
PSp is about 70% done, just have to do the controller and case.

Around the 4th, the border between Utah and Wyoming is almost as heavily guarded as the US-Mexico border because of people buying illegal fireworks in Wyoming and taking them back to Utah (I think possesion is as bad as setting them off).

i went to my grandpappy's farm and set off a bunch of fireworks on july 1st. i don't know why it was 3 days early but it was. i launched a bottle rocket from my hand and when it launched, it shot a bunch of sparks at me and they got stuck on my shirt so i thought the bottle rocket was stuck to me and was like "eek!" but then it blew up in the air somewhere so i survived :P . it did burn a nice hole in my shirt though  still didn't stop me from launching them from my hand :P . i also lit a bunch at a time from a bottle when i wasn't holding them. my record is 12 rockets in 1 launch. i want to move to canada

fireworks are not even close to illegal in Arkansas, though now I live in Indiana so some fireworks require a pemint or so I have heard.

Fireworks aren't really illegal in Seattle, but the cops like to give you a hard time about it. Here I get to see flaming 100-foot smiley faces shot off the Space Needle.

For those in the Branson, Missouri area.... there is a place called "wholesale fireworks" or something like that... I wish I knew the exact place a bit better, but they have bricks of bottle rockets for a measly $2... and other awesome deals.

As for Minnesota, they allow fireworks, as long as it doesn't go in the air or explode. Crackling and popping (heh, almost said pooping :P ) is ok, though.

In the Netherlands you can buy fireworks around newyear. (only that time) And set it of on newyears eve. Rest of the year it's illigal. Also I believe that america doesn't do fireworks on new years eve right?

Well I guess Happy Indepenence Day to you guys too. I didn't fire off any fire works, but the show they had on Friday (yeah June 29th) in my town was great. I heard that Detriot had a good show too. Seems fireworks were the thing to have this year more then anything as I saw them fired off on the 3rd and last night even as late as around 12.

Course I want to know, where's that giant snake?
