Program

Post by Sword_Gun »

I have a question, Okay..

I really like this one songs beat, but the singing totally sucks, is there a FREE program out on the internet, that will seperate the beat of the song away from the singing?

Thanks,
Sword

Search google for a "devocalizer". At least i think that's what it's called.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

Use Audacity with the Center Pan Remover extension. It may hurt some of the drumming but that can be fixed with Audacity's built in bass boost filter. (Don't forget to add the LAME MP3 encoder .dll so you can export to MP3. (otherwise you're stuck with WAV which makes huge files and Ogg Vorbis which is relatively unknown. It's a great open source codec, but it's not used as widely as MPEG derived formats because Windows has no native support for it. You'd need a seperate plugin or media player.)

AnalogX Vocal Remover...

It works with the DirectX GraphEdit program, but it's best to use it with WinAmp.
