Powering

Yeah im EXE for those who remember me, anyway im about to power my 64 on a 7.2v 2000mAh rechargable Ni-Cd battery. and im going to use a adjustable voltage regulator and ill post a diagram, but first i need that website that tells u how to post pictures.

here, but the regulator is an adjustable voltage regulator LM317T positive, not the PT78HT233. This is my first time hooking it up to a battery so i need to know if it would work with the new regulator or if there is any other modification i can do.

For an LM317T, you need two extra resistors to change the output voltage.

I redesigned the diagram with 2 resistors as marshallh suggested and im wondering is it right...

P.S. what size resistors should i use? I currently own 10 ohm and 1k ohm resistors....will those work?

Heres a better and more accurate diagram , thanx to skyone, but sadly i need to ask one more favor, can anyone apply this diagram to the 64 power pins, I dont wanna risk blowing my 64 because i already broke a PSone screen and 64. The R1 resistor was a variable resistor to decide the output voltage but u guys know that the 64 needs 3.3 and 12V and a ground.
