gamecube case modding
I want to modify the gamecube case so a regular size dvd will fit inside + I dont want it to look like ass, any ideas?
Im done here
Grab your trusty dremel and carve out the area you need to have the DVD move in, I would also give atleast one centimeter of space between the edge of the DVD and the wall of the GameCube.
I'd also want to ask are you planning on putting the guts of a DVD player in to the GameCube, as I have no idea how you'd use DVD in the GameCube otherwise.

But the GameCube disc drive laser can only move enough to reach the edges of a GameCube Optical Disc. Unless you plan on replacing the whole optical drive assembly, I don't see how this could work. The only GameCube compatible full-size optical drive assembly would be in the Panasonic Q.peppers wrote:dont tell anyboady at http://www.ps2-scene.org but I broke down and got a viper modchip and I dont want to have to buy any mini dvd's + I dont like to leave the cover off (me only backup no illegal copies)

Those backups should only need to be written as far as a Gamecube disc goes, so it makes perfect sense for him to do this, actually. Good thinking, peppers!
But... shame on you
