Ok well this is very intresting and everything but I think this is a waste of time. People are saying "Evolution is a proven fact" Give me the proof!! I am waiting. I have heard of Proof like the Missing Link. Yeah a pig Jaw bone next to a humman skull. That is proof all right. Show me proof!!

I'm sorry you are completely wrong. Science can neither prove or disprove a deity of any sort. All we have been able to prove is the world is a lot older than the bible claims, and that we evolved from simpler life forms. Which simply shows that not all of the tales of the bible are accurate or even true, after all they weren't even written down until Moses started writing them down.

The stance real science has on dieties is this. "We don't know"

Science can tell us how things came to be, but not wether or not those events were set in motion by a deity. The Big Bang, is one of those events, that have no known cause, leading many scientists to believe that a deity had to have started it, other scientists simply believe they haven't figured out the cause yet

Personally, i don't believe in a deity, i see nothing in this universe that needs one in order to exist, including the universe itself. As for the Big Bang, why do people always assume there was a beginning, what is so hard about infinity? The universe has always and will always exist. There was no Big Bang that created all of the universe.

The creation of the universe itself is an infinitely long event, as is it's death. They occur simultaneously through the infinite expanses of time and space. We see these events in deep space, but we do not recognize them for what they are. We deem them to be something else. Until we travel close enough to these places to see the events in more detail, we shall never know what they truely are.

When the creation and death of the universe are infinitely long and occuring simultaneously, there is no life after creation. For creation NEVER ends. There is only life during.

No they aren't saying that (well...ok, some of you are :P ), and science does not hold that to be true! Evolution is a theory supported by scientific observation- NOT a fact! On the other hand, Creationism is not a theory, because it is not supported by any valid evidence. It is just a belief, as it should be.

There was no Big Bang that created all of the universe.
Remember, this is an intellectual arguement, and statements such as that need to be supported in some way or another. The Big Bang theory is supported by mathematical evidence and scientific observations. The math predicted that a subtle background radiation would be left over from the Big Bang, and we have directly observed that background radiation.
We see these events in deep space, but we do not recognize them for what they are.
Could you please be more specific? What events or phenomena are you refering to?

What!?!?! Where are these Observations of yours? creationism is supported by historical evidence, The Freaking Bible, you may not think that counts, but it happens to be the most well backed book ever written, everything in the bible matches perfectly with all of the historical events of the old worl until the death of christ, every prophacy has come true, I can't see how you could deny such a well backed book of FACTS. Yes it is a Historical fact, evolution has not, can not, and will not ever be observed, or recorded as such. I would like to see some VALID evidence of evolution, show me a missing link, I DARE YOU.

Well how do we know the book is correct? It is still easy to create stories of magnificent things happening. Where is the evidence that there is some very large powerful being that created everything? There is more evidence of evolution.

Logic points to the Darwin theory. Why do giraffes have long necks? Because they feed off the trees which evolved to grow bigger to get more sunlight. Things change to suit a need.

How do you know the book was written before everything happened? It is possible it is a record of early history, rather than a prophecy.

Besides we're all missing something just as equally plausible as creationism...

At least Exodus can be proven. How else could the pyramids in Egypt have been built? It's like Stonehenge, it's astounding that man can build that, but the Egyptians couldn't have built the pyramids alone. It took Hebrew slavepower to build those pyramids.

Slim, maye you should research this stuff before you say that. A quick wikipedia search shows that exodus and the construction of the pyramids at giza happened over 1000 years apart. So you're worng. It's not like the hebrews were a very large tribe at that point anyways, its wouldn't have helped much.

A 'God' with the power's the bible grants him with would clash with Space Time Theory as well as serveral others.

The Bible is not a Viable source for the start of mankind, Its too vague with centuries of passing the stories on. It wasnt written down till after christ was dead and gone. And with that much time a telephone game effect would have taken place.

There is evidence of evolution, they have discovered a fossil of early man. It looked like a hairless hape, the Brainial cavity was larger than an ape's, but much smaller than an Humans. also the placement of the thumb proves it was an early human.

If the Big Bang didnt happen, how do you expain all celestal bodies are movieng from a central point. As well as from each other.

*cranial not brainial :p

Also they found a sub species of early humans, they were trapped on an island or lived there by choice. It was a smaller area and there was less food. Thus the most well suited survived. They evolved to become 3 feet tall. There were also tiny elephants on that island found fossilised.

He may have been referring to Red Shift of the light which reaches us.

Its possible that the large gathering together of hydrogren formed a 'super' blackhole/neutron star due to the tiny interparticular and massive, as mass increased, gravitational forces. Until it expanded rapidly outward with a large burst of energy.

This is quickly becoming boring. XPC, you will continue to shout nonfacts at me and ignore the answers I give to your questions.

Evolution is always taking place, even though scientists may not classify an evolved creature as part of a new species. One example is so-called human ethnicity. Pale skin was an evolutionay response to the decreased intensity of sunlight in higher latitudes. The black skin was too dark to effectively allow sunlight to interact with the chemicals beneath the skin in order to make some of the nutrients we need to survive. Living up north was certainly not fatal to dark-skinned people, but in the long run it was a dissadvantage. Over generations, the members of mountain communities become barrel chested in order to gulp more oxygen (before technology came into the picture). I already explained the butterflies during the English industrial revolution.

Evolution in its smallest form can be observed by any person with some spare time. You need only put two critters of identical 'species' but different coloring into a container, and unleesh a predator only able to see one of them. That's all it is, people. Mutations and Environment.

The Bible is not acceptable as historical evidence because it does not detail processes which can be duplicated or explained. The Bible said Jesus turned water into wine, but it does not tell us how. With our current understanding of chemistry, water cannot be turned into wine. Water molecules would need to be divided into their sub-quantum parts, then reassembled to produce the hundreds of chemical ingredients in wine. The Bible often contradicts scientific theory, evidence, and fact.

The scientific community has unearthed fossils of dinosaurs with feathers, and feathered dinosaur-like animals capable of primative flight. The various stages of human evolution have been documented from fossil remains.

You know, Nastrudamus is believed to have predicted every major event in history, including Hitler's actions in WWII. The only catch? You can only match his prediction to an event AFTER it has happened= not a valid prediction at all. The Bible has been interpretted by hundreds of scholars over thousands of years. The "Bible" which most people hold and read from is entirely dissimilar to the original text.

Yea, it's really getting to be a waste of time to argue (edit: besides, I really can't argue). As much as creationists like me would like to prove creationism, we just can't. It is just more on faith and belief than it is on clear, definite fact. Like believing that the chair you're sitting on won't break and drop you to the ground.
Getting back on subject, I'd really like to think that they really found Noah's Ark, but I know it's probly something else.
