AV to Mono Plug?!

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

AV to Mono Plug?!

Post by Sword_Gun »

Hey, Ive heard from some people that you have to get some sort of Plug that goes into the PS1 screen, and Changes it from like a Headphone Jack to AV (Red,white, yellow) so you can use it with like ANY portable..

Is that true?

and whats it called?

Thanks,
Sword

Well, I don't recall the name of it, but it's not a mono plug - it has three contacts (for video, L, & R).

They sell very simular cablea at walmart. They are used for hooking portable DVD players to TVs.

Well, yeah, but even "mono" plug doesn't mention ground.
