Battery

Is this battery ok, i.e will it explode on me or does it have protection.

If not does anyone know a good high mah battey that i can get relitivly cheap in europe.

Sir, just go to batteryspace.com, and get a rather cheap battery (euro/pounds wise I'm not too sure). Also, I doubt that battery has a protection circuit (unless you buy a proper charger) and seems expensive, and I don't see the voltage rating, anywhere.

voltage is 7.4v, scroll down, and i can get the battery for Â£10 off ebay

probably 7.4v, probably has a protection circuit, and its not that expensive, esp. compared to batteryspace

No, that only does 3v closest - you need 3.2v-3.3v exact.

I took apart my ipod car charger and there was a circut that does what i need inside it. just have to change around a few resistors. Whats the output current ment to be?

No, it needs to be at least 3.2v for earlier motherboard revisions. Later revisions can go as low as 2.9v, but not 2.27v.
