FS: Nintendo DS *DIRT CHEAP*

My sis saw my DS Lite, so now she wants one, naturally. So, she's getting rid of her old DS Brick. It's silver, and it used to have Nintendogs decals, but she took 'em off, no clue why. Anyways, the system is in good condition; it works just fine, all the buttons/touch screen are as reactive as the day she got it (launch day). The only problem with it at all is there are a couple noticeable gashes on the front of the system. $65 shipped. Cheap enough, not negotiable. I'll accept MO, personal check, or mailed cash.

I'm pretty sure they're taking them for about $40. I was there last week and some guy got mad because that's all they were giving him.

Come on, NO ONE wants this? My sister keeps nagging me, "Is it sold yet?"! Please, someone! I may be able to lower the price, but only a bit!

I would also like to see the gash, I'm assuming by "front" you mean on the outside of the case and not the screen. pics of gash?

I've got a friend who wants my DS, and I'm planning on selling it to her for less than 50 bucks, WITH Mario Kart DS. She's my bestest-estest friend in the world, but I think it's a good deal. Oh, and mine is red. The JAP-001 one too.

Most anyone could buy a used DS at gamestop for less than yours, and it would'nt have huge scratches on the top.

My advice: Take it apart and paint it orange, or green, or some other color it doesnt ship in normally, and sell it for a large amount of money on ebay. Not only will it sell for more, but the scratches will be gone!

at gamestop and eb games its standard practice to give almost nothing on a trade in and selling it for twice its trade in price. also they sometimes open "rare" games becasue their used sell prices is higher than the new price becasue of high demand or whatever

I think it's standard practice to sell for > 2x the trade-in price... 2x almost nothing is still pretty good

Sometimes they'd buy games for $2 and sell them for $18 (I forget any specific examples currently).
