MUERTO!!!(a.k.a dead)

hey,

it's a model 2 and the power works perfectly, sometimes I can play the game, sometimes I can't. it's sorta random, I need to move the cartrige a lot to make it work. any tips on fixing it?

A new cartridge slot would do it. Because that one seems to have some messed up pins.

It's "Mi Sega Genesis es..." not "me."

Just replace the cart slot.

*shifty eyes* Umm... no... it's uh... me! (sure... I'll go along with that...)

I was afraid you'd say that (cartridge slot)... I couldn't do that surley mainly because I'd have to learn how to unsolder, unsolder both my gen. 1 (which bugs me because of funky RF stuff or speakers) and my gen. 2, then resolder the gen. 1's cartridge slot... and that would take forever. I'd rather do it to my portable... which I've never really found a date in which my dad is off and I feel like soldering and nothing hectic is happening...

I used to have my dad solder for me. You just have to learn how to do it yourself eventually.

I think I'm used to soldering now, so that's not too much of a problem. but since I've made so many mistakes (ex: PSone screen for genesis, I don't want 6 AA's, I could have had an intec, etc) I'm kind of debating on getting a nomad and doing some mods to it. with the PSone screen, I could save it for my idea next (GCp).

for the mods I'm wondering if this is possible though (for the nomad):

LED mod (know it's possible)

replace battery with a Nimh 3300mah battery found here

Edit: but then again there's always.... meh, u'll find out later
