but this time im trying to just get very specific tasks done one at a time. right now, im trying to take the SNES section up to par. There is some useful info on there right now, but it is far from complete. some parts are also inadequately written and need to be edited. a few pictures have broken links.
i went ahead of you and added some pretty obvious prompts for what can be added.
I'll get pictures once I take my SNES apart. Hopefully tomorrow, depending on how the controller goes.
Voltage Requirements
With the 7805 in use, the SNES Mini requires approximately 7V. Without the regulator in place the SNES can safely take a voltage range from 4.3-5.6V. Below 4.3V sound drops out; above 4.2V the system shuts off.
Should that be BELOW?
And shouldn't the Controller IC pinout also be in the PINOUTS section, not just the CONTROLLER section?
I may be able to post SNES pics of a V1 mobo. I also made a kick-ass wiring diagram in paint from SNES board-PSOne board-Controller, but I gotta find it first; it may be on my friend's computer, I made it at his place.
I uploaded high-res shots of a mini, but I didn't add any text, so it's just tumbnails at the right of the screen in the Pictures section right now. Feel free to add ntoes or something. But it IS a pictures section.
These pictures will be useful for explaning things on this site, just grab them, circle the part you're concerned about, and post a topic. You can see every pin on every chip very clearly.
