Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector woes...

Post by Lucretius »

So I barrowed one of these crazy things from a friend. I plugged it in, popped in the CD, initiated the install and, after being told after several install attempts, deleted archaic network bridges that were tripping it up and closed my firewall. I was encouraged since it was fixing every problem it encoutered. It was taking a while, but it looked to be happening.

Then it didn't.

After it checks to see if the dongle is in and tries to connect to the internet, it fails and gives me the option to cnacel the whole thing. I have Windows XP and Broadband. I have absolutely no idea of what could be wrong. Help me!

EDIT: This is where I really need help. I'm taking a summer school class and don't have time to go researching. If anybody could do the research that'd be so cool I'd make you admin! (of your own forum) :P

Maybe you could try <a href=http://www.theaveragegamer.com/2006/01/ ... n/>this</a>.
That might be the problem.
